Great unit but app needs work
It was easy to setup the unit but app was hard to use. Two different set of directions one on outside of box and one inside. The air does feel cleaner after using. The app is hard to change network. I am stuck and cannot change my network. The controls are easy to use on the unit. I would recommend the product

Nice, discreet, "smart" air purifier!
I have been using this Filtrete air purifier for a few weeks now and am very happy with it. I like that the display can be dimmed or turned off completely, so is useful in dark bedrooms. It is also very quiet and very rarely operates in the high fan setting that is noisier (when bad air is detected). The filter is easy to change and the display shows % usage left on it. I believe that I read in the manual that this is based on usage time vs air quality, so at 90%, this means that they last approx. 6-7 months running full time. But the associated phone app is the best part. It shows all the same info as the display on the unit, but also adds temperature. It must save the air quality data periodically, because it allows you to view a graph of air quality hourly/daily/monthly. Note to 3M: Can you also save/graph the temperature data? I can see this being VERY useful to owners that have this installed in vacation homes or are away enough that they would like to be able to monitor home temperatures, as well as air quality. Reviewing the data recently showed a short time period when our air quality went south. I believe this was when the fire we had going in the fireplace got a little smoky. Nice! Looks like it works. Otherwise, you barely notice it sitting quietly, humming along in the corner of the room. Which is a good thing. And no beeps or noises that would freak our dog out! 2 thumbs up!!

Easier to Breath
The Flitrete Smart Room Air Purifier FAP-SC02W for a medium room is wonderful. I have two German Shepard's and two cats so dander in the air has always been an issue. I set this up in my bedroom and put on the auto cycle. I was surprised how well this works. Within the day I noticed a positive difference. The purifier is very quiet. I liked how I could look at it from across the room and see the light so I knew the air quality without having to go over and read the screen. I am planning on scanning the QR code to link it up to my cell phone. That is a handy feature.

Fantastic product with useful features
I LOVE this air purifier! Being able to see air quality while I’m at work, and my kids being able to understand air quality, is something I didn’t even know I needed. The functions are all easy to use by all ages and abilities!

works great
We have been running the air purifier for a little over a week. The air is so much better. We have 2 dogs and 4 cats, and has made such a difference. It is very quiet. I like that it tells you what the air quality is and watch the air improve. I also like that you can monitor how much filter you have left. We like it so much we are going to buy one for each bedroom.

Slick unit with Smart features
Wanted an air purifier that had smart features and this unit fits the bill. Download the app and it is a simple couple of minute setup with the air purifier. App provides you with your location's air quality outdoors, as well as inside your house. The unit has multiple fan speeds, but the most important is Auto, which will pick the speed necessary to the sensor information about your room. This will extend the life of the filter. The filters are rated to 6 months (@12 hours a day), but could go to a year if your air isn't overly nasty. Even still, the filters are about 15 to 20 a piece.

Great features
I received a Smart Air Purifier by Filtrete to evaluate. Opinions are 100% my own. This is a very nice air purifier. The size is good, smaller than expected and it fits nicely in the room. The air purifier is quite quiet. I was surprised how much quieter it is than my older air purifier. The smart features are impressive. The unit can be controlled with an app on your smart phone. Also with the app you can keep tabs on the air quality and filter usage. And you can use the app to remember the filter type and size when you need to purchase a new one. The filters are said to last 6 months. The unit also has an indicator that glows different colors so you can easily see what your indoor air quality is. I am very happy with this air purifier and would recommend it.

Great Features
I received the Smart Room Air Purifier one week ago and have been using it every day. It’s compact and portable (17” H, 12” W, 9” D). The front panel lifts off to check or replace the HEPA filter when needed. The unit is very quiet. Using the controls on the unit, you can regulate speed and length of time, in hours, how long the purifier runs. If you download the app, which is easy, you can regulate the run time down to the minute, adjust the four speed fan, check air quality and check filter life. The thin light on the front of the unit tells you the air quality in the room by using five different colors. At this point, it’s easy to run and I would purchase another one this size or larger for other parts of our house.
