  • OUTPERFORMS FIBERGLASS, WASHABLE AND NON-ELECTROSTATIC 3-month pleated 1 in. home air filters for your furnace, air conditioner or HVAC system
  • DESIGNED WITH EXCLUSIVE Filtrete™ Brand 3-in-1 technology from 3M to trap unwanted air particles while letting cleaner air flow through
  • ATTRACTS AND CAPTURES particles such as lint, pollen, dust, pet dander, smoke and smog
  • 800 MPR has a rating of MERV 10
  • The higher the MPR, the more microparticles--such as pollen, pet dander, smoke, bacteria and viruses--your filter will capture from the air passing through it
  • FOR OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE of your heating & cooling system or HVAC system, change your home air filter at least every 90 days for 1 in. filters, and at least every 12 months for 4 in. and 5 in. filters
  • A dirty filter will slow down air flow and make the system work harder to keep you warm or cool--wasting energy. Sign-up for a filter change reminder program (www.filtrete.com/ChangeReminders) that works for you!
  • FOR RESIDENTIAL use only
  • CREATE A CHANGE COUNTDOWN in the Filtrete™ Smart app. Simply use the app to scan the barcode on your filter’s packaging, then choose 30, 60 or 90 days for your replacement countdown. When the lifespan is up, you’ll get a notification to change your filter

Customer Reviews
Filtrete™ MPR 800 Micro Particle Reduction Air Filters is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from WARNING! The new design BENDS The new design is AWEFUL! Look at the photos here. The filter was perfectly formed when installed. As soon as the AC turned on, the filter frame just started to collapse and bend. When I felt these things I just knew it was going to be trouble so I am happy I monitored it. I put the old filter in and immediately made this review to warn others. I just purchase my year supply (18) of these filters for my 3 AC Units and now I have to return them as they are JUNK!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase I used to love this filter. Even on a budget, we always bought this filter. Now the new design... horrible, if you can find my size (20×25×1) they are all crushed and bent. Put it in my unit and it gets sucked in, bends and does not work anything like the old design. I'm better off buying cheap filters. Will not purchase again unless you change back. I'm on disability and can't afford more expensive ones. Sorry. Lost a lifetime filtrete user. Bring back old design please.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3m Filtrete 800 Being confused that the arrows of my newly purchased filters were opposite what I used to buy, I phoned 3M. They said that they completely revamped the filters and that I should follow the "air flow" arrows. Once I put the filter in I looked at it while running and it was bending too much for comfort in the direction of my blower motor so I took out the new filter and replaced it temporarily with the used filter until I can find a more sturdy filter brand. In my opinion, the change in design was for the worse. I can't trust this new design with the weather here in humid Florida.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of crap Same filter I used to buy, new design that does not work as it should. Filter is so flimsy you're lucky to find one in the store that is not bent out of shape. Once installed, it is sucked up into the air handler not staying flat like it should. Now I am forced to buy an upgraded product to get the quality that this one used to have. Had I read the reviews first, I would not have wasted my money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from do not support design change When I took this filter out of the wrapper, I noticed the change in material for the webbing. When I pulled the old filter out to replace with the new, I was confused by the air flow seeming to be backwards. I do not understand the need to change the design nor can I see how this design can be of value. If I have issues and this is the only design, I will purchase another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy I have been purchasing this product for quite some time but when I opened it and saw this design I knew this was not going to work. They have changed to plastic webbing which is cheap ans will not work. Also I cannot understand why the airflow arrow has the plastic webbing facing outward. This means that nothing will restrain the filter from being sucked into the furnance. I wonder if this is a manufacturing error. The purpose of the webbing and the metal braces I thought was to keep the filter from being sucked into the furnce. If the webbing is placed on the outside than nothing prevents the filter from collapsing into the furnace. This will by my last time using this filter. I will go to Home depot today and get a different brand. I no longer trust 3M Filtrete.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beyond awful product I bought this filter two weeks ago at Walmart and installed it on May 16. I normally have zero problems with your products, so I wasn't particularly worried when Walmart was out of the appropriate size in my normal choice, the Allergen Reduction 1200. I did wonder if the directions for installation were correct when the air flow indicator showed the plastic bracing was on the underside of the filter instead of above. Last night I walked into our home office, which is located directly adjacent to our AC closet, and the carpet was wet. The filter had been sucked up into the unit, causing it to freeze up. Condensation was now pouring into our home office. We have wet carpet, wet office furniture and no AC to use as we hit probably the hottest day so far this year. Doesn't bode well for working from home today. I so wish I had seen the reviews on this product before I purchased it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful. Picked on up at wallyworld since my regular delivery of filtrete 1500 has been delayed twice. Figured it would be fine for a month or so. After a week it looks like the other posted pictures, totally bowed in toward the air flow. I was skeptical that the cross bands would hold, especially given they are only on one side and according to the marked flow direction are trying to hold the filter from behind. Seems this is a common problem.
