    Wipe down the bathroom sink and counter after your morning shower

    If you have 10 minutes and a few super-effective cleaning aids, consider yourself armed and dangerous. Dirt and grime don’t stand a chance when you tackle this quick list of room-by-room daily chores.

    • 1. Bathroom

      After your morning shower, squeegee the shower door (30 seconds). Once you’re dressed and ready for the day, wipe down the counter and sink, paying special attention to faucet handles (one minute). Use a fresh wipe or cloth to give the toilet handle and seat a quick once-over—in that order! (30 seconds)

      Time: 2 minutes

    • 2. Bedroom

      Make the bed (two minutes) then give nightstands and the dresser a quick dusting with a microfiber cloth (one minute).

      Time: 3 minutes

    • 3. Kitchen

      Use disinfecting wipes—or a microfiber cloth heavily spritzed with a natural cleaner—to wipe down the sink (30 seconds). Next, with a fresh wipe or cloth, wipe down the counter and stovetop (one minute) and then sweep or vacuum all those crumbs off the floor (two minutes).

      Time: 3 minutes, 30 seconds

    • 4. Living Areas

      Wipe tabletops, fluff pillows and fold throws (one minute). Rub remotes with a germ-killing disinfecting wipe (30 seconds).

      Time: 1 minute, 30 seconds
